MEDIA ALERT: Press Conference

City of Rochester, Take It Down Planning Committee, and Rochester Museum & Science Center will announce plan to replace Dentzel Carousel panel and call for artists

In 2016, a panel featuring racist artwork was removed from the Dentzel Carousel at Ontario Beach Park in Rochester, N.Y. To fulfill their commitment to the community, the City of Rochester, Take It Down Planning Committee, and Rochester Museum & Science Center have put a plan in place to mount a replacement panel on the carousel, and are seeking the participation of local artists.
